JANESVILLE — The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin is receiving a $20,000 grant from national nonprofit Petco Love, to support its work for animals.

The award “means that we will not only be able to continue helping pets go home, but we will also be able to help pets stay home. This investment will allow us to be proactive rather than reactive to pet-related concerns in our community,†Business Development Director Kaitie Swedlund said in a release.
